INFORMATION
Hilton Head Island SC - Weather

Hilton Head Island SC’s balmy subtropical climate leads to mild winters, perfect for golfing year-round. Hilton Head’s latitude places it just on the edge of the balmy subtropical climate enjoyed by Florida and the Caribbean Islands. Our climate is characterized by quite mild winters and hot summers. The large amount of surface water on the island produces what is referred to as a marine climate. The result is the moderation of hot spells in the summer and cold spells in the winter, and a reduction in the daily range of temperatures. Average midday temperatures range from about 60° in the winter, to the upper 80°s in the summer.
